How We Work With You

Every partner brings something different to a project. Here's what you can count on from us, and how to bring us in.

  • We see the interiors as a continuation of your design, not a separate chapter. We stay in close contact from early drawings through final install, respect the intent behind your architecture, and make sure the finished home reads as one clear idea from the outside in.

  • Buying a home is only the beginning. We help your clients turn a new house into a place that feels like theirs, and we treat that relationship with the same care you did. We're happy to be the name you pass along at closing.

  • We deliver organized specs, stay responsive, and help clients make selections on time so decisions don't hold up your schedule. Our goal is fewer surprises on site and a smoother job for everyone.

  • The easiest way to connect us is a short introduction email with your client copied. We'll take it from there with a brief call to understand their project, timeline, and goals. We'll keep you posted along the way so you always know your client is in good hands.

For more than two decades, Shand Design has shaped homes throughout Santa Barbara and Montecito. Led by mother-daughter duo Susan and Ryan Shand, our tight-knit team remains deeply rooted in local projects, in addition to recently expanding our presence nationally from Aspen to West Palm Beach.
